I will admit.... 70 degrees warmer than usual is significant. I just don't think there's much we can do about it.
guys, this isn't a global warming event...

it's a very localized extreme weather system

Just reduce our consumption since we are number one in the world per capita.

It’s 70 degrees warmer than normal in eastern Antarctica. Scientists are flabbergasted.

The coldest location on the planet has experienced an episode of warm weather this week unlike any ever observed, with temperatures over the eastern Antarctic ice sheet soaring 50 to 90 degrees above normal. The warmth has smashed records and shocked scientists.

Eastern Antarctica’s Concordia research station, operated by France and Italy and about 350 miles from Vostok, climbed to 10 degrees (minus-12.2 Celsius), its highest temperature on record for any month of the year. Average high temperatures in March are around minus-56 (minus-48.7 Celsius).

At a nearby weather station, the temperature reached 13.6 degrees (minus-10.2 Celsius) about 67 degrees (37 Celsius) above average, according to University of Wisconsin Antarctic researchers Linda Keller and Matt Lazzara.

didja read the article? its still frozen.

Way too many people on Earth living life the wrong way and abusing natural resources? I think so.

Africa makes up 17% of the human population but accounts for only 2-3% of global emissions.

Really. Hmmm. Maybe Antarctica wouldn't be such a bad bug-out location after all...

You know what would solve the climate emergency? Forcing the middle class to live in shipping containers, banning leaf blowers, banning gas stoves, and patting celebrities and the global elites on the back for all their lavish excess.

easier way......start blaming China....for the past 50 years....all of the increase in CO2 has come from China

...they would never blame China....if that happened there would never be another word about global warming
