while i am sure all of the 1619 work is not 100 percent correct...i just watched a documentary explaining the abolitionist movement in England, it was very active in England in the late 1700s so much so that some feared a government takeover to outlaw slavery...turns out declaring independence would keep slavery a few more decades...this is not a lie or made up history
I am so sick of this racism nonsense. I watched the first few episodes of Jon Stewart's show and was surprised at his thoughts. I used to like him. What happened to all these TV personalitys? Everything is about race these days more than it ever was which is creating a bigger platform. Hmmmm
Yeah, we are all sick of the racism that still exists. The fact is, it still exists and those who aren't affected by it just turn a blind eye to it. Easy for you to do, not so easy for them.
If I have good reason to dislike any person whether they be black or white does not make me a racist. This is what MLK described as judging the content of ones character. Good and bad in every race. Telling all white people that they are racists is wrong.
Again...white self loathing is a sad thing to watch.
It's sad. I remember last summer when all of the BLM BS riots were going on. I remember seeing white people washing some black people's feet.
