Where were you when Amazon.com began banning certain books, and social media companies began banning people for their political beliefs?

I’m failing to see how this is like ‘Fahrenheit 451’. Have firefighters gone around burning houses with books in them, which is what happens in the story? Are books being permanently removed from society and being forever destroyed? Are people having to sneak books they want to keep and hide them away from the authorities, like what happens in the story?

I can't understand why the far left needs to indoctrinate our kids I to thinking they are bad people because they are white and victims otherwise. And what does it have to do with math?

This is legitimately the funniest thing I have read in a long time.

Then why is the left upset at the right for banning CRT, if the right is “blowing it way out of proportion”?

There’s no logical explanation for the left to be upset that the right is banning something that “doesn’t exist”….

A local judge came in and physically removed books from shelves. Has he heard of the First Amendment? It is notable that the library protesters stacked the new library board, closed meetings to the public and named the chief protester the vice chair of a new library board https://www.washingtonpost.com/natio...ks-censorship/

Doesn't Texas have an open meetings law? These folks are setting themselves up to pay legal fees to the ACLU.

Its not just Tesas, either. The above-cited article notes:

I wonder who will supply the matches for the book burning parties?
This is laughable from someone who is ok with banning Dr. Seuss. Talking from both sides of your mouth does not make a person more intelligent.

This book has been adopted by many school districts for teaching guides/resources for mathematics:
https://www.verityweekly.com/wp-cont...on-640x454.jpg

Some key points of the book
* Math is racist.

* Correction is a demonstration of white supremacy

* It is acceptable to have more than one answer to a problem.

Then there are the actual textbooks for school kids that reflect/reinforce this agenda to undermine mathematics. So GOOD for Florida for keeping these poisonous books out of schools!

So, yeah, the denial game by the woke left is pure BS.
