It's a shame you see them all as liabilities on a balance sheet.
Yes, a few of them will be adopted early enough and be raised in households that want them and value them rather than seeing them as an inconvenience and a means to welfare check to spend on drugs and cigarettes since the school will feed them. Most unwanted kids though won't be that lucky. They'll either grow up unwanted or bounced through the foster system. A few of them will make it out despite the odds. Most will go on to produce the next generation.

I'm sure they're working on what will come later. This helps to rile up their base now and distract from all of the disasters of this administration now. Let's not pretend this isn't directly out of their playbook.

ultimately most voter profile studies show what happens the final 2-3 weeks as well as economic impact is all that matters in the end. In 2018 we saw how the Kavanaugh thing helped the GOP but that it occurred maybe 2-3 weeks too early to have the impact it could have if it happened in late October

But the red states mean well. Doesn't that matter? /s

Plus few mid-term races are ever close.

Its the Economy Stupid (always), Carville was always correct about that.

It was very kind of liberals to take the bait, I agree.

Which means the only way they can overturn Roe. is if an a case that pertains to the question of Roe. is brought before them.

So as the liberal uproar unfolds, just remember, they are the ones who challenged Mississippi's law, and they filed this challenge AFTER ACB replaced RBG.

They chose to file a challenge knowing that it would get to the Supreme Court and knowing the makeup of the court.

I asked back in 2018 when Kavanaugh was confirmed if libs would realize how challenging any new abortion law would set the wheels in motion for reversing Roe altogether, and thus refrain from challenging it, or if they would shoot themselves in the foot.

Looks like they chose the latter.

Again, our textualist majority Supreme Court can only rule on cases that are brought before them.

I thank you liberals, from the bottom of my heart, for giving them that opportunity.
this bears repeating.

By the time October rolls around, there will be enough abortion horror stories coming out of the red states with abortion bans to flare up the issue again. Republicans are going to lose the midterms on this.

So, if Florida doesn't decide to ban all abortion except perhaps to save the life of the mother, are you going to move the hell out of there and move to a Red State, like Kansas, where the people there don't have the right to petition for a vote to put the right to abortion in the state constitution?
