It will be in Oklahoma and Texas….I believe the same is true in 11 other States based on laws that have already been passed.

Perhaps because it was always a crime.
FETICIDE - Destruction of the fetus; the act by which criminal abortion is produced. The killing of an unborn child. State v. Horne, 282 S.C. 444, 319 S.E.2d 703, 704.

How the court could ever ignore the prime directive that all men (which includes women) have the RIGHT TO LIFE, and governments are instituted among men to SECURE THAT RIGHT.

It was absurd to rule that "privacy" can be an excuse to terminate a helpless life dependent upon another. The blood of millions are on their hands.

It's all about the mid term elections. With things getting worse and worse, something had to be done to try to get the left base to the polls. Being the party of death and insanity wasn't shaping up to be too good for the dems.
Now we can fight about abortion. never mind people are starving and crime is rampant and inflation is making it impossible to live. Oh, and the vaxx has made everybody sterile anyway.

Wapasha you're so WRONG. It's not just the left. This is because the rural RIGHT in the red states sure as hell don't want the overwhelming URBAN vote to tell them what liberal changes in the law they don't want to be forced to accept. Very few rural people want marijuana legalized in any form. They don't want more Medicaid forced upon them as offered by ObamaCare. And they sure as hell don't want any right to abortion put in their state constitutions!!!

Alito explained it in detail in the Draft Opinion that he apparently wrote. If you wanted your question answered, you could have read it. Or even look through Post #32 for a few hints.

But I can see you didn't want a real answer. The truth would have left you with no leg to stand on. Again.

But I guess you'll be used to that by now.

Anything NOT in the Constitution has no backing by the Constitution.

Even pro abortion lawyers long ago realized Roe was built on quicksand in its attempts to read into the Constitution things that were never, ever even mentioned in it once.
Exactly, so the supreme court should have no say about abortion. But roe v wade was about privacy which is in our constitution.

This would certainly be a step in the right direction in terms of scoring a political victory for the expansion of the principle of decentralization within existing legality , however I think that leaving the issue to local authorities would be an even better idea .

There tends to be way too much division these days even at the state level for a truly majority consensus to form with respect to controversial issues like this , which is precisely why it would be important to enact a constitutional amendment which would give sole authority to local authorities to decide on such controversial social issues like this .

Failing that I can only foresee the further continuation of this eternal battle , that has been ( among similar issues ) tearing apart at the USA for far too long IMHO .

Companies base decisions strictly on profit. Where can I locate to maximize it.

PS: Red states , year in, year out, disproportionately outpace blue states in GDP growth.
