Putin could have taken all the money he is using for the war and offered to repatriate any Russians living anywhere in the world, and given them homes and jobs.

Wouldn’t that have been better?

Run your Country/Government so it makes a couple hundred or so people un-Godly amounts of money...and they all kick-back to you.

Zelenskyy's wife just dropped $40,000 on one Paris shopping trip, while she was there.

The U.S. officials scam money through convoluted foreign-aid kickbacks...and the ultimate insider-info guided stock & bond buys.

Yes...and had the U.S/NATO not nixed his Peace Agreements (and opted for war instead)...the money would have been available for that or any other good use.

The top leaders of Ukraine, Russia, and the good 'ol USA do live well, very well, perhaps beyond the comprehension of ordinary citizens like us. Up in the stratosphere of riches, they are immune from the mundane worries and problems plaguing us. They are our venerated leaders working for our interests and keeping us well supplied with money, products and a good life. Well... at least they are supposed to. But they don't because we don't matter. Why should we? The top leaders have what they want and play their games. War here, war there. It's easy to do since they don't have to do the fighting, killing, and dying. But we do. Let us puff up our chests in patriotic pride and do our duty. Let us serve our masters well and a few crumbs may slip off their table of plenty for us to gobble up. Duty calls.

The media sometimes times announces this or that unit of Ukrainians may be "surrounded"
That can only happen if Russia holds all the surrounding territory for more than 50 miles, which they don't.
Did the Indians have John Wayne "surrounded" when they circled the wagons?

It's a common military tactic to try and surround the enemy. The Russians are making progress at that objective. They advanced 11 kilometers in 24 hours.

Anyway the point is, how is the Ukraine going to win this war if the are losing ground?

They lost before they started. It just a matter of time. Purpose was to continue color revolution in hope that the fifth column would be able to topple Putin's rule. Nothing new...

You have your facts mixed up.
Putin didn't start it...he was defending with a preemptive mission. It has been brewing for many, many, many years.
Many do not have a grip on this due to ignorance, or propaganda fueled bias. They need to educate themselves on history & the facts.

Russia/Putin offered Peace Agreements before and after the start of this conflict...the U.S./West/NATO nixed it and opted for war. They got what they preferred...war instead of Peace...because they looooove war.

Lots of photos floating around of some serious looking war machinery heading that way.

How long until they will have most of it in place?

the Bradley's, about 8 weeks if they're coming from the US..less if coming from Europe..and if the truth was known there are probably some already there..

The Russian rail system is starting to show the strain of sanctions. Months ago it was pointed out at bearings necessary for train cars were no longer being shipped to Russia, and Russia has no way of manufacturing them. Some 10,000 railway cars had been pulled offline in September because of a bearing shortage and another 20,000 have been sidelined since. There are about 100,000 cars in total so this represents about 20-30% of all Russian rail cars.

Dry goods wagons, which are train cars intended for gravel, ore and coal are now being used to haul bombs and ammunition within Russia. That makes the cars harder to unload as well as reducing the load each car can carry. Flat cars or box cars are the normal carriers of military hardware.
The Russia rail system is slowly failing. A Russia without railroads is hardly a Russia at all.
