The truth is, there is no solving this puzzle........how to stop the regular massacres in the USA.
330+ million people, many of them both very awful people and off their rocker. Then of course, like it or not, millions upon millions of guns......and that number will just grow and grow.
For long guns, which includes rifles like AR-15s and shotguns, the minimum age of purchase from a licensed dealer is 18 under the federal law. There’s no minimum age to purchase a long gun from an unlicensed seller. From a *licensed* dealer, the minimum age to purchase is 21.
Unhinged teens with guns or who have access to guns. That is a problem.
We could use community volunteers to guard the school grounds.
No sane person would take the job, unless deputized and armed.
Seems we go through the same political posturing with every mass school shooting. Left calls for gun control, the right calls for armed people at the school, the media tries to spin it so the gun or some white supremacist is at fault...
It should be noted, though, it seems the shooter died in his first confrontation with an armed person, so an armed and deputized individual could have made a serious difference.

Its nothing new, my school had a full fledged armed police officer assignment to it in the late 90s... this was mainly because gangs were so bad at that school that decade.
Having an armed officer with a hand gun gives that school a fighting chance but they would still likely be out gunned.
Unfortunately A regular occurence in America, not surprising with the gun laws (or lack of them), will America EVER learn? How many innocent children need to die before something is done about it! These kids were under 10 years old FFS! If nothing changes its only going to get worse there, and to think some people are stupid enough to think MORE guns is the answer! Its incredibly sad.
We won’t be able to get rid of the guns so more guns is a better idea than no guns, because we live in reality. Guns aren’t going away in this hemisphere. And honestly they won’t go away in any hemisphere.
My recommendation is less focus in the news. Report on it for a day or two and move on to other news. When they don’t go on and on about every thought in their heads we don’t get copycats.
I think that you are wrong IF most of the victims are Hispanic. Actually, I think you are wrong even if the victims were white. His advisers know that the media will be reporting on this, and not to "lay a wreath" would cause a PR firestorm, imo.
This, of course, if Biden even goes to Texas.
But maybe this will make some people think twice about saying that white supremacists are the biggest threat to the U.S. -- but probably not.
All these mass murders are Psychotic. Most are on Heavy Medication (that news never gets out due to HIPAA).

-he was Gender Confused,
-was Hinting at Gun Violence for 6mths or more,
-Like to Flash his Gun Collection of AR-15s
-and was a Cross Dresser.
A Strong theory to the Sexually Confused is 'they are prone to violence' and frequently disfigure their victims. ____Not only do they commit suicide at a very high rate, they also attack and kill.
PS: One thing's pretty certain: If the victims were mostly Whites, Biden won't be visiting this community after the mass shooting.

There's 'nothing we can do about it' says the only Western country on the planet with this problem.
I just heard that Texas DPS is reporting that the death toll, other than the shooter, is now up to 18 kids and 2 adults.
