Sounds like a "sit-in" was planned for the afternoon, with beverages and munchies.

And hearts breaking as muh committee announced it won’t be making any criminal referrals. Gonna be lots of popcorn returned tomorrow.

Wow. That sure jumped the rails quick. From Trump saying "peacefully and patriotically make your voices heard" to "Trump folks" planning to take hostages??? Puh-leeze. Somewhere in between all that, a throng of deranged idiots got even more stupid & violent than the opportunists & snakes behind all this intended.

Not a major fan of DT, but he was a damn sight better than his opposition. I feel sympathy for the thousands more in attendance who never came to break the law in any fashion. And I really have sympathy for a country where most of us in the middle don't believe Trump "incited an insurrection" at all. This country has been played big time. And it's still being played. This thread is evidence of that.

No, you obviously have not been in a mob situation. The Capitol Police would have been murdered if they opened fire on the rioters. That's obvious.

And you obviously haven’t either. 400 Capitol police aren’t using revolvers. They’re using guns that are spitting bullets as fast as they can pull the trigger, you know, the kind Dems want banned, lol.

The Capitol police wouldn’t even have to mow every one of them down, yet 400 of them easily could. When bodies start dropping and blood is everywhere, unarmed folks aren’t going to keep going to keep attacking and commit suicide.

Rioters? I thought they were traitors trying to overthrow the government and kill Pence and Pelosi (at least according to some). That by itself would have been justification to shoot them.

Cant have it both ways.

Coming up in tomorrow’s hearing. I think it starts at 1 P.M. EST.

Join us and find out what all the hoopla is about.

Considering the committee won’t make any criminal referrals, I’d wager ratings will be even lower yet.

They don't need to. Merrick Garland and his Band of Merry Prosecutors are hanging on every word spoken in the hearings, and itching to get their hands on the thousand transcripts of everyone who has been interviewed.

I never figured they would refer anyone for criminal charges outside the contempt charges for ignoring subpoenas. Meadows and Scavino weren't indicted even after the Committee referred them, though Bannon and Navarro were. That generally means one of two things. Either Meadows and Scavino already have other indictments waiting for them that are much more comprehensive, and they want to avoid them trying a fishing expedition to find out what the DOJ knows, or they have already flipped and are cooperating fully for leniency in a plea deal.

We'll know soon enough what's up.
