That is not a crime either. For you to prove a crime, you have to prove that Trump met with the crowd or leaders of the crowd before or after his speech and offered them rewards to break the law on his behalf.

His public speech is not a crime so stop with the b.s. A crime would be Trump having personal communications and offering them rewards either by money or political payback. That's the smoking gun not feelings or wishful thinking. It makes you guys look desperate.

I'm actually somewhat disappointed, because I think Trump running again is a lock for Democrats to win again.
Over? Not at all. More hearings coming in September after the new witnesses that have come forward get through testifying.

I don't read twitter so I have no clue what he said on that site.

They need to make changes about protocol and none of this idiocy where it's only the POTUS who can get a swat team to stop something like this. Jesus the VP calling should have been good enough.
That was changed in December. The Chief of the Capitol Police can now request the National Guard as backup directly.

I'll take your answer as "There is really no way to contradict the testimony we have heard thus far." Thanks
So the hearing is a bust and now the wishful thinking plan is donations? o.k. Throw whatever mud to see what sticks.

How can you contradict any testimony if you can't cross examined or bring the opposite narrative? Can you stop repeating non-sense. Is this open hearing allows that outside people can come in and cross examine the witnesses already brought in and bring their own?

how can any outsider contradict the narrative of the committee or their witnesses. Do they have open mic day? You take comedy too far.

I'm still convinced a lot of the 'far right' posts are foreign nationals paid to sow dissent. Then there is a group that can not argue truth or fact so they just deny. I am to the point I just don't care to argue with deniers. There are so many posts making the most outlandish claims whose only purpose is to inflame. Its a biased forum and its just not worth it most days to attempt a little reality.

They always had that power but now the Chief can overpass Sergeant at Arms. Before he had to go to the board.

This shouldn't have come to the military. You have 1,879 officers. That's 2 officers per protester at the worst case scenario. The police had the numbers and firepower by far than anything the protesters had. This was a simple arrest of anybody that trespassed Congress and refused to follow direct orders from the police.

Sounds like a leadership problem.

As was pointed out, the hearings are not over. When they are over, it will be up to the DOJ whether charges are filed, not the 1/6 Committee. It won't be like "Law & Order." The hearings will not end one day and the next day charges are filed. So just be patient, Sparky. What will happen will happen.

yeah just like Hunter's laptop. I guess the only foreign nationals in the world are for the "far right". No socialists or far left.

How do you "inflame" a forum? Either you agree with either narrative A or B or just don't care. How is that inflaming?

That's 2 cops per 1 protester at worst. Explain why you needed the military and war weapons. This wasn't the invasion of Iraq or Iwo Jima.
Where to even start with this?

There were 1,340 police working in the Capitol Complex on 1/6, a number that had been determined in a meeting of security officials a couple of days before. The 1,340 were spread out guarding 20 buildings on the 58-1/2 acres of the Complex.

At 2:00 P.M. on 1/6, 1,214 of them were on duty. 195 of them were in the Capitol Building itself.

The crowd was somewhere between 2-4,000 insurrectionists, or 10-20 times as many as there were officers. In short, the police were heavily outnumbered. As we have seen in a couple of videos, there were crooked cops guarding one door who were sympathetic to the Insurrectionists and opened their door. The other doors were breached by violent means.

Of the insurrectionists on hand at the Capitol on 1/6, the last figure I saw was 865 arrested. That has possibly changed, since they are still arresting a few every week.

If you say so Pluto. More wishful thinking. We heard the same thing under Mueller. The hearings will be OVER after the elections. That I will bet my house and your barn. Take that to the bank. No more hearings after the election.
