And, doctors WILL tell them they won't do this, in this situation.

A young man who says I don't want kids, I've never wanted kids, and I carry the _____ gene which is very likely to be passed on to my kids, that's a different thing.

I have sex and don't want the woman to get pregnant because I'm not ready yet to be a dad, a completely other situation.
How many doctors do you know?

I didn't say you have to be married to have children, I said having children is the only way marriage isn't a 100% sucker bet for the man.

If you don't want to be a dad, marriage has almost nothing but downside for men, with very little upside.

Sheer idiocy.
What will now happen, is women will submit themselves to unlicensed practitioners, and men will be even more likely to kill their pregnant partners than they were before.

This isn't a guess. We know this.

Funny.

The happiest group of people, statistically, are married men.

And typically, men who are widowers seek another wife after a fairly brief period of mourning, to the great dismay of their adult children.

I guess you have to like women to have this work out this way, though.

No, believe me, he pushed for that DNA test pretty quick.

I know a lot, actually. I happen to be in a social circle with doctors.

Additionally, I have worked in the child bearing community, and have taught child birth and birth control.

And my husband had a vasectomy, and I know the process he had to go through. The doc who did it insisted on a consult with the wife, if the patient is married. It's not a thing to be taken lightly, or to do behind the wife's back, or in the case that he expects the procedure to be reversed when the time is "right".

So what I would be saying is technically true but does nothing to prove a point that doctors won't do these things.

Why? We have the entire LGBTQ community that regardless of what "biology" you believe, two Men or two Women are not going to naturally create a baby. That seems like it might be just as much of a "problem", yet we never hear about that.

Again can you come here and post that you are so certain of that fact?

Why? I hear a lot about how the "Man" needs to be more responsible. And here men are taking responsibility and it is still an issue?
Someone recently posted on another thread that a married woman with 6 children had to get her husband's signature before the doctor would do a tubal ligation for her. It was recent.

Success rates for vasectomy reversal
Whether or not a vasectomy reversal is successful may depend on what type of vasectomy you had and how long ago it took place.

For example, the more time that's passed since your vasectomy, the more scar tissue will have developed in the tubes that carry sperm to your penis.

It's estimated that the success rate of a vasectomy reversal is:

75% if you have your vasectomy reversed within 3 years
up to 55% after 3 to 8 years
between 40% and 45% after 9 to 14 years
30% after 15 to 19 years
less than 10% after 20 years
