Well it was "The Post". No surprise there.

Fox News jumped in with heavy critical coverage too. No surprise there either.

No sure about the NYT, CNN or MSNBC's tone of coverage.

They're almost all democrats.

Some were more sane and some more "pro crime" and definitely a racial element to this.

It's covered up quite a bit but when you get into these large urban areas it quickly can turn tribal in a hurry.

That's why I am always amused by city folk that have never lived elsewhere thinking that rural areas are just going to be a hotbed of hatin' minorities and gays etc. Sorry folks, you want to hate-crimed or just beaten randomly head for the nearest large city as your best bet.
