I noticed and I'm sure other folks have noticed. Were Democrats involved in the outcry too?
They're almost all democrats.
Some were more sane and some more "pro crime" and definitely a racial element to this.
It's covered up quite a bit but when you get into these large urban areas it quickly can turn tribal in a hurry.
That's why I am always amused by city folk that have never lived elsewhere thinking that rural areas are just going to be a hotbed of hatin' minorities and gays etc. Sorry folks, you want to hate-crimed or just beaten randomly head for the nearest large city as your best bet.

The man is terrified and traumatized, and won't even leave his house. I read that Austin Simon's comrades in crime are out to get revenge. I'd wait a VERY long time before returning to work - and I would consider relocating somewhere far if I were him.

That is very traumatic for a man with no criminal history. Probably has to close his bodega so the BLM/Antifa mob doesn't harass him.
