Biden is in idiot. However. You do realize that oil is being transported by rail and tanker truck? Its not like its the pipeline or nothing. And most of it is headed out of the country.

I am all for the Keystone XL pipeline. The town I live it is pipeline crossroads of the world. But you off base on your statement.

Even mentioning Keystone XL...you may want to read up on what exactly that was for.

No one said the global pandemic didn't impact oil production. But listen to the words coming out of Biden's mouth. Jesus Christ.

Radar, sonar, satellites .....many countries have them.

We have sensors in place that can sense things as small as a soft ball flying through the air. We have incredibly sensitive underwater sensors as well. We have geostationary spy satellites with high resolution. I find it next to impossible that nobody saw anything suspicious just off shore of one of the most densely settled areas of the planet, in Danish waters, in an area full of shipping.

I also find it funny that the media is largely ignoring this monumental story. How has a suspect not been named yet? How is it that all of the incriminating evidence has not been showcased?

If it was not conducted by a state, then it's a form of eco-terrorism, which is frightening in it's own way and that should gain traction in the media. But I think we all tend to think it was conducted by a state.

It was done by the US, satellite imagery has shown US helicopters leaving their bases in Gdansk and hovering over the area of the pipeline.

The media blackout is due to state-media collaboration, where the state dictates what the media can say. We saw this a bit during COVID but obviously in matters of war it will be more acute. Other media is talking about it.

What you're missing is where any of that has actually prevented growing domestic oil production. There are oodles of leases yet to be used. The gooberment is not the limiting factor in this case.

False.

The actions taken by this failed Biden regime to kneecap domestic oil exploration, production and refinement have been documented ad nauseum on this forum and elsewhere.

Please stop lying.

A smart business person will increase prices and blame someone else. And idiots lap it up. I look at the past few administrations and I don't see any correlations between political party in charge and oil prices. Why did oil prices take a huge dive from 2014 to 2016 during the Obama administration? Is it because of the president?

Domestic oil production is at the same level as it was in 2019. It is forecast to hit 12.6 million barrels a day in 2023.
https://www.eia.gov/outlooks/steo/re...et%20in%202019.

This despite the fact that there are significantly more people working from home reducing consumption and demand that is still less than in 2019.

This is all pandemic/Russia and wary oil investors thinking prices will collapse as soon as they commit more capital.

Global energy consumption is increasing, despite people working from home. Oil plays a big part of energy production.

Oil production and consumption has been growing steadily. 2020 a hiccup occurred. 2021 saw a rebound from the hiccup and 2022 will likely match or surpass the record year of 2019.

Take a look for yourself:
https://ourworldindata.org/energy-pr...on-consumption

Despite the slight oil hiccup, overall global energy consumption reached record levels in 2021.

Cut backs in oil production will put even more pressure on natural gas. (Hello Ukraine/Russia/Europe!)

Energy consumption is growing worldwide, especially with all of our advanced technology and EVs requiring more and more electricity to be produced to recharge batteries.

The next battlefield won't be about pipelines in Eastern Europe, it'll be about rare Earth minerals in Africa.

Buckle up, folks!
