Maybe, another difference is that the USA makes a lot of our own gasoline/benzene whereas Europe doesn't and they pay a higher premium to secure it from other countries.

What always fascinated me as I drove through a myriad of European countries, some out of the EU and far poorer (like the Balkans) the price was similar without huge differences. Certainly, in poorer countries, out of the EU, why would they impose such high tax rates?

I also find it funny that the media is largely ignoring this monumental story. How has a suspect not been named yet? How is it that all of the incriminating evidence has not been showcased?

If it was not conducted by a state, then it's a form of eco-terrorism, which is frightening in it's own way and that should gain traction in the media. But I think we all tend to think it was conducted by a state.
It's odd nobody is discussing it outside of some social media. I'd expect old putin to make some accusation.

Saw a station at $2.96 today. Most are around $3.20-$3.30 right now. The $3.20 stations were at ~$3 a few days ago.

And funny how it was a good thing when Trump asked for it.

Trump calls on Russia and Saudi Arabia to cut oil production

“Just spoke to my friend MBS (Crown Prince) of Saudi Arabia, who spoke with President Putin of Russia, & I expect & hope that they will be cutting back approximately 10 Million Barrels, and maybe substantially more which, if it happens, will be GREAT for the oil & gas industry!“

Thank you, President Biden, for killing our energy independence, during your first day in office...
Why? Why are they cutting it ? Why do we keep relying on others for our own welfare? Don’t blame Biden, this has been going on since I was at least 15.

Seriously, are you comparing demand now vs. demand during COVID and not understanding something just because of politics?

You are aware of the Covid pandemic right?
