Watch the video all the way through. I think you will be pleasantly surprised.

Her positions are now much more conservative than they used to be.

She no longer talks like a Democrat at all. She has been red-pilled. They are going after her, no question.

I can't imagine a DeSantis/Gabbert ticket or her alignment with anything approaching Trumpism. She saw through Trump ("Putin's bytch") more than she did most anything else. She never would have had any success in the GOP. If you think she is a darling because she criticized the Democrats, she won't sit quietly anywhere else, either.

Gabbard tells us what she isn't, not what she is. There is a lot of that going around and it attracts voters who have normalized negative campaigning without understanding the full consequences. That always leads to some unpleasant surprises.

She is going to be an "outsider" no matter where she lands in the current political environment because that is largely how she sees herself: a vegan practicing Hindu female military officer born in Samoa and representing Hawaii in Congress who thinks (knows?) she is always right. She is forging her own path because there is no one else like her and she is not easily labeled. That may or may not push her political values one recognizable direction or another.

Enough said.
Truer words were never spoken.

The party of FDR, Truman, JFK and Clinton and so many others is no more.

She was always a Republican in Democrat clothing. No big Surprise.
Steve Bannon, Breitbart, Trump all loved her and were big fans. She always kinda felt like a double spy to me.
No big loss for Democrats. And Republicans, you had her all along.

Talk to me about her Republican policies. There must be a whole bunch of them.

I'm all ears.

I'm shocked someone who once worked for an organization that tried to pass measures against same-sex marriage and advocated for conversion therapy would decide to leave the Democrats. Shocked I tell ya.

What made her a “Republican”? Like her her political stance? ie abortion, 2nd amendment, etc

Let’s hear it

Her climate change opinions and policies, and her hypocrisy on the 2nd Amendment are issues I cannot reconcile with her. You cannot say you defend the 2nd AMENDMENT, while promoting gun bans, and gun control. Glaring inconsistencies here, unless someone can point to the language I seem to have missed at the end of “ ….. the right to keep and bear arms shall not be infringed” ? Where’s the “except for gun bans and background checks and other gun control measures as deemed necessary” part? Oh, it’s not there. So, keep the paws off the guns. The right protected by the 2nd, offers no but ifs.

She’s a moderate liberal in a landscape filled with extremists. That makes her appear more rational and wise than she might otherwise be.

And she is a clever opportunist
.

Tulsi realizes the democrat party is doomed and republican voters see the Democrat Leadership as their worst nightmare, and by acknowledging their fears and jumping ship, even with her socialist and un-American position on policy, she believes low I.Q. Republican voters will embrace her on emotional feelings without their realizing she would be worse than Mitt Romney.

Her only supporters in the Republican Party would be low I.Q. emotional voters.

That pretty much sums it up.

Sometimes people with political ambitions latch on to the more popular local party to get their start. Later when they get on the national stage and the parochial issues are no longer front and center, they can seem out of step with the rest of the country.

We see this in both parties.

I always fondly play back the debate between the US national treasure Kamala and Tulsi. Such a pleasure to watch Kamala wiping the floor with "Tulsi the spy". Go Kamala! With your honestly convincing body movements and the overwhelming sensitivity of your unique use of the American accent that always makes my eyes wet, you are the true definition of realness that's been missing so painfully for so long from the theatre of the current political landscape. Be grateful for this versatile Woman!
