Well given the alternative this is a good thing!! I do not want radical liberal things to get done!! Gridlock is best in this current climate!!
Fair enough. Future gridlock is better than the radical agenda of crime waves, hyperinflation, gender fluidity, open borders, vaccine booster mandates, unsecure voting, and draconian lockdowns.
The right dodged a bullet this election. Biden was preparing to be dictator.
The GOP unfortunately deserves to lose the Senate. Dr. Oz is a bit of a joke, and a bad candidate. Granted brain damaged Fetterman is worse, but in a blue state we need to do better. Same with Walker-only reason he's hanging in for a runoff is that Warnock is so bad. I'm more surprised about the gov races. Hochul and Whitmer are horrible, and have been terrible for their states. Same with Hobbs in AZ. OK, NY is NY, any Repub was behind to start. But I thought Lake and Dixon would sweep their states. Both smart, articulate women and natural leaders.
Still wonder how much the "October Surprise" (Pelosi attack) and the lies from the media painting the attacker as a "MAGA Republican", rather than an illegal alien, really had as well.
Regardless of who the republican candidate is the Media would make them seem worse than Hitler if Trump backed them.
Name recognition and first time running for office is what Oz, Walker, Lake and perhaps Masters were. Sort of like Trump when he ran in 2016. Trump likes those kind of candidates and also he liked them in his administration. But they are such a wildcard. Its fine if you to find one for a strong red state. But in swing states it just takes a few mistakes to cost you the race.

Yes gridlock is preferable to the extremists of either side going full throttle. But in the long run this country is on a steep downhill slide because of the lack of good leadership and the division. In a world possibly facing world war three, major energy problems, etc., we need better.
And as predicted, the young, and particularly young women voters turned out in force.
The brightest spot is that there will be more of them aging into voting by 2024.
The young socialist generation will be the undoing of America. I believe the result will be those conservatives who live in blue states will continue to pack up and leave. The nation will continue to sort itself politically, eventually separating the country into two different nations. The hard left view in the north and the west will NEVER be respected in the South, plains and interior west. We are getting more conservative and digging in. Look at Florida, Tennessee, Alabama, Oklahoma etc. Contrast that with places like Michigan where they re elected the woman who locked them down for two years, or the entire northeastern US where no serious challenge was mounted to leftism. California is to the left of Venezuela. There are now two Americas and it appears we want nothing to do with each other. I believe the election of 2024 wing further demonstrate this.
At some point we should begin negotiating the peaceful dissolution of the federal Union. There is nothing “United” about the American states.

There are plenty of good GOP candidates out there, but due to suppression, harassment, media bias, and misinformation, many understandably will never run.
Tulsi Gabbard is clearly a Republican but may never run as one.
Any GOP candidate who wins is accused of being a Russian collusion plant.
