I am not Chinese food nor am I a breakfast taco. A restaurant can serve what they want, it's a problem if you deny service to certain groups. I haven't encountered too many places that have problems with people coming in demanding cuisine they don't have.
That's exactly what happened with Hallmark. The network was attacked and demanded to change it's product to serve a specific group. And it did.
A higher up left and started a network to target that original audience. And LGBTQ are attacking that product also, and demanding that the new product be changed also.
And as a response to the attack on Christian based programming, another network was created. One of the higher ups at Hallmark, left Hallmark and started the new channel.
But the win wasn't enough for the LGBTQ, who successful changed an entire network.
They moved on ... and LGBTQ went after the NEW network also. Publicly attacking Candace Cameron Burre. Why? They got what they wanted from Hallmark. Celebrate the victory and call it a day. Nope.
LGBTQ is on the ATTACK. They are going after networks that already have a specific audience and demanding that the network change their programming/marketing/scripts/actors/etc.
Why are they trying to control all entertainment that is not targeted at them?
It's like going to a Chinese restaurant and demanding that they start serving pizza. They don't serve pizza, they serve Chinese food. If you want Chinese food, you go there. Because they want to provide Chinese food to people who want Chinese food.
If you don't want Chinese food, you go somewhere else.
Candace Cameron Bure was attacked because she clearly stated she wanted nothing to do with anything that wasn't a "traditional" marriage. She's a bigot, clear and simple, and deserves to be attacked for the implication that anything different than what she believes is bad. She's also married to a communist.
Generally, in polite English language, we include a noun when using an adjective. To reduce people to an adjective is rude. We don't say "I went to a group for autistics," because that would be inappropriate. We say, "I went to a group for people with autism" or "... for autistic people."
"A group of elderlies made this quilt at a bee last year." No. We would say, "elderly ladies" (or "elderly men").
There are some exceptions, of course. We do say "teens" and that's not considered rude. And we do use nationalities and that's fine. "The Japanese did this," or "Most Americans do that," are both fine.
Most of the time, though, we do include the person in phrases describing a group. Gay and Black are adjectives, so it's off-putting to say "the gays" or "the blacks," when discussing a group of people.
They've had Hannukah movies, and movies where Jews and Christians have dated.
Epic post fail.
Epic reading comprehension fail. The point was should including those plotlines lead someone to create a Jew free channel and publicly announce that’s what they were doing. That’s exactly what Candace whatever her name is did with this new channel.
