Do you all remember who is the 1 American who can save us from this? The only Congressman who has been resisting all this spending since her arrived in DC....Rand Paul.
We need to send Rand Paul into the White House with a small army of like-minded patriots to save us all...the clock is ticking.
I'm beginning to agree with you.
He's the only politician out there with the gonads to stop the hemorrhaging.

Rand just wants all the pork for himself. He loves porkbarrel spending.
What I don't understand is, how can a single "Republican" senator vote for this bill 2 weeks before their fellow party members take over the House?
How? What happened to party discipline?
The alleged 2 party system demands it. Load these massive bills up with earmarks, favors and specific programs so no one has incentive to vote NO. It's a form of institutional extortion.
Did we not just spend the last 18 months raising interest rates at the fastest pace in history to fight inflation, and now we're going to print more money out of thin air which will only further raise inflation.
Does anyone else feel like politicians on both sides are no longer doing what's best for the American people and instead just lining their own pockets?
Yes! And then we have McConnell telling everything that most Americans WANT TO SEND BILLIONS of dollars to Ukraine. Who are these republicans?
I'm so over all of this. I don't think I can vote anymore. I will continue plotting my exit strategy.

But the dems don't roll over. They stand their ground.
pubs should only agree to pass a minimal spending bill until they have more power next year. anything else is idiotic.
Why? It's less than they were spending so it's obviously not the amount that's objectionable. They'd need to be objecting to the specifics which gets back to that 4,000 pages.... but again, that's every year and never stopped them before. Shutting down the government until next year or doing a bunch of emergency bills never ends up saving money.
