About 99.99999% of all creatures that a loving and charitable God has created, will die a death that is more horrible than you can even imagine. Most will slowly dissolve alive in the digestivie juices of something up the food chan. A lucky few will die more quickly, torn apart by jaws and claws. And you want to know what the good news is? You have a chance to die in your sleep in a warm dry bed. In a country where you enjoyed a life of luxury without ever doing a single day of hard work to earn it. How much better can the news get?

This is true. Although I'm certainly partial to one current candidate over the other, I do hope that both candidates will be better than Bush.

The media doesn't make money/get ratings by reporting good news. Whether it's "Oh, no! Y2K!" or "Oh, no! SARS/Ebola/insert virus of the day!" or "Oh, no! The economy is melting!"...bad news just gets your attention better.

Good news...well, that's all around you every day. We just take it for granted.

U.S. Rep. Tom Tancredo (R-Littleton) introduced legislation today that would effectively move the United Nations headquarters out of the United States.

My son's soccer team is undefeated. That's good news

Seriously, I know what you mean. I get so tired of all the doom and gloom. Makes it hard to get out of bed and get on with life. I'm happy both my husband and I are employed in industries that won't be affected as easily as others by lay offs. I try to find the silver lining but there are a lot of storm clouds out there.
