there is nothing wrong with reporting this bad news to get people to act by contacting their representatives to stop the bailout bill. from all reports we still have until wednesday to get this stopped. if the bailout bill does pass against the will of the people, we will just need to become active in voting this people out. i am so angry hearing both sides say that it is for our own good. maybe the only good that will come out of it is that all the incumbents will lose their elections if they pass this legislation.
on television right now they are saying that the only people who will vote against the bailout bill are candidates who are in vulnerable races, but that there is enough support to get it passed either way. the incredible gall! they are all going to be in vulnerable races if they jerk the voters around.
