Before you start doing this read first!

I’m curious to know- what is the atmosphere in states that usually go republican right now. Die hard republicans I know have come to grips with the fact that their party is basically a pathetic joke right now. They understand BUSH is not only the dumbest but the worst president in U.S. history and the new guy (or old guy) McCain is one heartbeat from biting the big one which will leave his unbelievable air-head side show joke of a VP to run the United States of America. (Scary thought – I know) “It must really be embarrassing to even insinuate you are a republican at this point I would think”.

I’m not looking to debate anyone (there is way too many ignoramuses’ on CD that will take this thread into left field for that) I’m just more so curious to know - is there anyone really with a sane mind or an above average IQ that would still vote republican after all that has taken place in our country, or are republicans in your neck of the woods starting to get the picture? Maybe you make over $250,000 a year and voting republican makes since for you even if it destroys the rest of your country.

Yes I’m voting for OBAMA and not just for the sake of change. I’ll put it to you like this I’ll take OBAMA the Harvard law review president and graduate with Einstein brains who defeated the heir apparent and fierce competitor in Hillary Clinton who is also very bright rather than 4 more years of an idiot who picks a VP that says her foreign policy expertise stems from the fact "she can see Russia from her back yard".

To add some humor to the conversation check out these hilarious parody videos of Sarah Palin, George Bush and John McCain. I love a good laugh so I thought I’d share.

Boy, this is going to get ugly.

One thing though, I think people are starting to see that Palin was a horrible choice. It comes off as though he brought her on board just to pander to women - and that feeling is only growing as time goes by. She's horrible in interviews, she is very inexperienced and just doesn't know things, and they're trying to control her from talking in public.

It's not her fault really, she is what she is.

This entire country is looking pretty stupid right now. Neither of the two main political parties has fielded a truly good candidate, let alone someone that is qualified to be President.

Not too many people are embarressed to live in a red state. We know that it is only a few sick degenerates that are vocal in putting these states down.

I agree with this.

I vote Republican, but I'm not exactly thrilled with this year's candidate. Actually, I wasn't thrilled about Bush either. Gore worried me and Kerry was a ho-hum bore who didn't seem like he could or would do anything, in my opinion.

Obama scares me more than McCain or Palin, that's for sure. He's too socialistic. Though Republicans seem to be leaning that way more and more.

I would vote for someone other than McCain or Obama, but I feel like my vote would be wasted.

On the subject of how rich and less-than-rich people vote, I've never understood why lower class and middle class people vote for democrats. The Democratic party loves to raise taxes. Not that Republicans never do though.

Anyway, to answer the title question. No, I'm not embarrassed to live in a Republican state. I'm glad NC is overall conservative. The county I live in however went to Kerry in the last election. :-\

Democraps are just as embarassing as Republicans, end of story. If you think one party is immune to stupidity, then you sound like the typical mindless Obama supporter. If you dont believe me, come on over to Illinois, where our state has been RUN INTO THE GROUND by Democraps, who endlessly make a$$es of themselves (Daley, Stroger, Blagojevich, etc, etc, etc). We're the laughing stock of the nation. Heck, even McCain has pointed it out in one of his new ads.

Get a clue.
