Regardless of your feelings - a married woman is not "owned".

BTW, and out of curiosity, do you ever plan on marrying?

As for a complaint that the kids don't have any privacy, you really should take a look at their home - the older children have their own bedrooms, and younger children share bedrooms (a fairly common thing)

The children are well educated. They are healthy. They are well clothed.

Yes, the older children help with the younger children - again, not uncommon in families of all sizes.

Some indicate, or allege, that the the Dad/Husband is somehow forcing the Mom/Wife to do something she does not want to do. That does not appear to be the case. "Mom" wanted all of these children as much as "Dad" does.

It is unusual for a family to have this many children? Of course. But, it is THEIR choice - and that is what matters.
No one has their own room. All the girls in one room and all the boys in one room.

yes. There was a show (16 kids and moving in, or something like that) where they moved into the new house, and specifically said that there was one boys room and one girls room, and one big closet for everyone.

Seriously??? Who here is jonesing to kill off that family? No one, who's the offensive one comparing people who ridicule that family to murdering pieces of lowlife? You should be ashamed of yourself for spouting that kind of ridiculous ****.

Thank you - I stand corrected.

I went to the Duggars website and looked at their slide show - and sure enough, you are absolutely 100% correct. The one closet concept seems logical actually inasmuch as it is near the laundry room (with 4 washers and 4 dryers!)

It is interesting to note I think that all the kids are being home schooled.

Yes, I think they are all home schooled from beginning to end. Ya, one closet would certainly make sorting the laundry easier.
