The mother and father provide a lot of individual attention to their wonderful family.
As for a complaint that the kids don't have any privacy, you really should take a look at their home - the older children have their own bedrooms, and younger children share bedrooms (a fairly common thing)
The children are well educated. They are healthy. They are well clothed.
Yes, the older children help with the younger children - again, not uncommon in families of all sizes.
Some indicate, or allege, that the the Dad/Husband is somehow forcing the Mom/Wife to do something she does not want to do. That does not appear to be the case. "Mom" wanted all of these children as much as "Dad" does.
It is unusual for a family to have this many children? Of course. But, it is THEIR choice - and that is what matters.

I went to the Duggars website and looked at their slide show - and sure enough, you are absolutely 100% correct. The one closet concept seems logical actually inasmuch as it is near the laundry room (with 4 washers and 4 dryers!)

Yes, I think they are all home schooled from beginning to end. Ya, one closet would certainly make sorting the laundry easier.
