Looks like there was much more to Haggard's gay experience than originally revealed...like in, there was another guy.
Like many Republicans, Haggard preaches one thing and does another..for some reason, this seems to apply particularly in the area of sex.
And I thought all the GOP fundies believed you weren't supposed to lie down with another man, or whatever that scripture BS claims. Now I'm really confused.

That is one advantage to being a Democrat/liberal, since you stand for nothing you can't be a hypocrite, since you have no morals, you can't commit anything immoral. It must be great to be a Democrat.

Au contraire, liberals stand for truth, justice and the AW. Is it a conservative sensibility that encourages gay people to come out of the closet and be free to live their lives in peace? Is it the Republican Party that's comfortable with out gay people? Ahhhh...no. The Republican Party is the neurotic, hypocritical, bottled-up closet party, and that's what ALWAYS sinks you, every time. You rise on self-righteousness and piety and you fall when your hypocrisies invalidate everything you say and do to a whole new generation.

but they have jesus to forgive them, it is ok to molest little boys, kill innocent people and deny health care to people, as long as you have jesus to forgive you
problem is democrats dont have jesus so even if they are good people they are still going to hell
The TRULY sad thing about this situation is that when Bush had two SCOTUS vacancies to fill, Karl Rove was on the phone, almost weekly, with James Dobson and Ted Haggard, so the GOP could wire into the fundie vote for their own political purposes. Now we know the sort of people who were advising Rove and Bush. We are the laughing stock of the world for these sorts of things done by the Bush crowd. James Dobson tried to do a 3-week miracle cure on Ted, but that joke ended quickly and they hustled Ted out of town and Dobson washed his hands of him and never spoke his name again (its not good for fund-raising, ya know).
