I'm sorry, but are you claiming that no other U.S. President has used a teleprompter?
No. His use of the tele for every speech, every event, every function and meeting is unprecedented.

you said several times that it is unprecedented. That implies that someone is keeping track. Yet you didn't provide any proof of that.

Agreed!

They have NOTHING else.

If Obama's use of the teleprompter is unprecedented (and the OP has yet to provide any stats on this despite the obsession) then if that's worst thing to say about Obama, the Republican party is in a complete freefall.

I must have missed alot of laughs... These wingnuts are holding on to the teleprompter with the very last tips of their fingernails! I think that means they don't have much to attack these days. I expected more the worlds coming to an end threads.

Obama's safety net: the TelePrompter - Carol E. Lee - POLITICO.com

A crutch - most often used by those of weak will and mind.
The ability to be an effective president is not dependent upon the ability to give political speeches without the aid of a teleprompter. As someone who has a fear of public speaking, I have no issues with Obama using a teleprompter.
