Man charged in death of Kansas abortion provider - Yahoo! News (http://news.yahoo.com/s/ap/20090602/ap_on_re_us/us_abortion_shooting_suspect - broken link)

Justice has prevailed. He is caught. I hope this person has fun rotting in prison.

I may not approve of Tiller's actions, but I am elated to see that his murderer has been caught and hope that he will be convicted and spend the rest of his life in a cell as he rightly deserves.

Some members of this forum will likely come onto this thread and say the same thing, just as they did a few days ago.

It's disgusting....that's what it is.

I'm predicting a minimum of 50 responses on this thread and a lock within 3 hours.

He is not convicted but with 4 other ushers as direct eyeball witnesses I don't think he has much chance. Two of the witnesses chased him but couldn't get him before he got away.

Just think what would have happened if that guy walked into that church and saw all those ushers packing. I bet he would have got out of there before he even drew his gun. I guess when the anti-gunners go after the guns from this event I will use that argument against them. I don't own any kind of firearm but am becoming more likely to support concealed carry because of things like this one.

I would say that the attitude of the people in that county it will be hard for him to not try for change of venue. Maybe KC, Kansas would be good but I don't know anyplace else in Kansas that would be good for him.

He was known to be a very sick person. That doesn't excuse his murder but to call him a saint would be out of the question...

I will guarantee you that few people in Kansas accept abortion and most didn't really like Tiller, but most also regarded him as less than a murdering criminal, also.

Really? A very sick person? By whose definition.

Sorry, but to me, Tiller was a brave doctor providing needed services to women even though his life was in danger doing it every day. The shooter was nothing but a coward.

I think he was referring to the killer.
