You said 'proof is all over the internet'.

I asked for link to specific documents.

And all of America heard the crickets.

That's rather odd, because the State Director of Health stated that he had examined Obama's original birth certificate in 2008.

Oh, spare me. It looks like the same information is there, just not on paper.

."*Paper documents were discarded*The official record of Obama's birth is now an official ELECTRONIC record Janice Okubo, spokeswoman for the Health Department told the Honolulu Star Bulletin, "At that time, all information for births from 1908 (on) was put into electronic files for consistent reporting," she said."

There are examples of the long form posted online.

I'm sure you've seen them.

No, they aren't the same as the phony COLB the Obama campaign came up with.

Even if we accept this "long-form" birth certificate argument (which has no merit), your argument comes to a screeching halt when faced with the fact that not one, but two, birth announcements exist in Honolulu papers stating the birthdate and the Obama's address.

Case close, Joe White. In the end, maybe he's just a really intelligent and driven American who worked his butt off to rise to the top.

oh well if it was in the newspaper, it's GOT to be true.

obviously the alternative explanation is much more plausible: obama's grandparents planted the items in the paper a couple of days after his birth to cover up the fact that he was born in kenya so that it wouldn't be an issue when he ran for president 47 years later. or maybe his mother rushed back home to plant the news items after rushing to give birth in a tiny village in kenya, since she's obviously an insane person with no regard for the safety of her child and an inexplicable urge to give birth in kenya and then cover it up.

or it was just that darn liberal media. they loved obama even as an infant!

oh and i'm not aware of the governor confirming obama's birth certificate, but numerous hawaiian officials have, and have explicity stated that this means that he was born in hawaii. hawaiian birth certificates can be requested for foreign-born children, but their birth certificates would have their actual places of birth on them, not honolulu as obama's has.

there's a link to the statement in this thread, which the birthers have mysteriously abandoned:

also, the hawaiian director of health saying that he has "personally seen and verified that the Hawai‘i State Department of Health has Sen. Obama’s original birth certificate on record in accordance with state policies and procedures." doesn't mean that he looked at a paper certificate.

The issue of whether Obama is a "natural born citizen"--which means "a citizen at birth"--was raised in a June 10 article on the conservative Web site World Net Daily.
