Yes, yes. We get it. You've heard people called it National Socialist Radio, so you're just repeating what you've heard. Now provide evidence of this so-called liberal bias in their reporting.

Back to the OP, Barbara Walters had this coming. It's pay back time and she's getting it right in the nose after the way Star Jones was treated. Star Jones is no angel and I am not one of her fans, but they treated her badly, and now Barbara's paying the price for making such a risky move in putting Rosie on her show. Disaster! Greed put Rosie on the show and greed will ultimately be the show's downfall.

Firsthand experience. Two years ago they were discussing problems within police departments and violent crimes in general. They had one anti-gun guest speaking after another. A friend of mine who is a dispatcher for the local PD had to argue her way onto being able to speak on air! They literally did everything short of hang up on her! After her, not one pro-gun OR person was put on air. Just another series of lefties. And yes, people were calling in from her PD and others TRYING.

Listening to their morning news is no different to tuning directly into CNN. Anti war anto gun anti Bush anti everything. They glorify the Liberal canidates. Blow sunshine right up their rears during interviews. Interview more of them. Been at it for years. It doesn't take a specific affiliation to see/hear NPR's lean. Tuning into FOX is the extreme opposite. I don't bother much with them either. There should either be a NPR that at least balances itself out OR another one leaning right. Next............

florida, i you only repeat that it is not biased then that is what you will say. I didnt hear it called NSR before, i called it that.

It is biased in its programming: terry gross' show is so biased in that she only brings on guests who fit her beliefs or when she does bring on to interview someone she doesnt agree with it is badgering and upset they dont say what she wants.

News and Nots and Tavis Smiley is the same way--if they just interviewed people from a objective perspective, it would fit the Public standard, not left of center thinking.

Programs are never on Pro guns, Pro Marriage, Pro Fundamentalist Christian, pro Israel, anti cuba anti terrorists(its always how the Bush administration is not doing this and that). where is the coverage nightly of the things going right?? lots of it out there but they rarely print it.

they dont cheerlead for our President, they dont talk about Rice as a black female who is in high power, they mention Nancy Pelosi. I could go on and on, Air America vs conservative talk radio is another good one.

i happen to have been on the left as a far left socialist and know where most real leftists stand on their like of NPR vs Talk Radio, Big Business vs pro EU style economy, Public schools vs Vouchers. and most print media journalist, like television and radio are 90% registered democrats. that is public record

I respectfully disagree, and I do listen to NPR. Opposing commentary is rare. And as a former reporter, I know there are ways to slant the "news." Both ways.

Stating the news is liberal doesn't make it so, the corporate media lead by the few companies that control the media (Time Warner, Viacom, Universal, Disney, News Corp) has unchallenged right wing talking points... they have accepted them as fact, and by extension, become a PR/propaganda arm of the White House and GOP.
