Honestly it's fine with me. It's kind of fun watching our president's approval numbers go down in flames before our very eyes only 7 months into his presidency lol! With other presidents this didn't happen for at least a few years. This little stunt of his will only make him more unpopular. Go, Mr President!

President Obama’s Address to Students Across America September 8, 2009

It reminded me of the old Apple computer commercial in which the face of the dicator is being shown on a large screen in an auditorium full of gray, blank faced, cloaked people, only to be smashed by the colorized "wonder woman".

I wonder if anyone will smash the screen like the commercial? It is a good thing that my kids are in private schools. We don't have to put up with such crap. Does anyone find it interesting that the schools no longer perform the pledge of allegiance or prayer, while Obama propaganda is perfectly okay? Big Brother is watching you!

It's only been done by totalitarian regimes, typically combloc Europe in the late 40s and 50s. Not broadcasting by television, but broadcasting by written text. That's reason enough never to do it in America. Like I said before, the last place anyone should get an education from is a dirty politician.

Don't get the reference. Plus, I'm speaking about grade school children. I'm quite confident absentees will spike that day.

Don't suppose it might be smarter to wait until after this broadcast to object to what he has to say?
Or do you all believe one 15 minute speech can turn all these little kids into lock-step Obamatrons?

Well Glenn told them to panic, so what else can they do? Their fear and hate are stronger than their common sense.

Beck Calls Obama School Address "Indoctrination"; Warns "Your Republic is Under Attack" - Audio
Regardless of these facts, I find it hard to believe that parents really think it is a good idea to encourage their children to skip school over this incident. Do parents really think that the President speech, which surely will be no longer than thirty minutes, will be enough to indoctrinate their child into a lifelong Obamabot socialist bent on destroying the world? Are parents this insecure about their own influence on their child that they believe one day of Obama influenced school can overcome all their years of parenting?
Glenn Beck now advocates students skip school on Obama's school address day

How do you think the Germans would respond to that question?

Propaganda is a dangerous thing. Those without children or those who side with the current admin wouldn't understand.

Parents are not invited to view this speech, and there is no plan (or wasn't one) to allow parents to view it's content.

Fact: one side keeps asking why we do not want our children exposed, as a captive audience. Fact: The question has been answered many times over... if you aren't going to read the responses, then quit asking the question.

It's like talking to teenagers!... oh wait... ;D

The reference | A representative moment

The commentary above from The Examiner asks the right question IMO: are you all this insecure about your influence over your children? Id say the problem isnt Obama...who isnt "giving your children an education"
