Indoctrination works, and both parties are guilty.

I DON'T CARE IF OBAMA TALKS TO THE KIDS AS LONG AS THE MESSAGE IS ABOUT EDUCATION.

I'm just saying those that want to question it have a right to do so.

I support their right to do so... I do not question that right. And I do not question why they object to his speaking to their kids..

"Why would you think you dont?"

I did not say I did not, it was a question to others here.

Yes, the first time Hitler spoke to his "youth". I am sure it was a positive message as opposed to the "turn in your parents, aunts, and uncles if they say anything bad about the Nazi party".

I feel like Benjamin (Yes, the ass) in "1984". "I have seen this before........"

D'oh! My mistake, and I apologize to you and to VftP too from an earlier post.

Well, I think it's going to be completely benign, but you all dont. Oh well.

Those public schools have an elected school board and the voter can get rid of them if they step out of line.

Historically speaking, countries with no system of government don't do so well on the world stage. Somalia is an excellent modern example.

No, they are traditional "conservatives", indoctrinated to believe that massive centralized and extensive control is the preferred way to organize society.

Note: Traditional conservative is not equal to modern American "conservative".

The Rat in the WH knows thinking adults are done with him. His last hope of The Takeover is with impressionable young minds. History repeating....until we finally get it. So take your precious kids on a picnic that day, keep them away from this demagogue.
