Have you looked at any of the activities the National Education has suggested for the kiddies? What happens if he does not do what you hope he will do? They have already changed a number of the questions they originally wanted asked and will probably do so before it happens.
And what if he does? You all have your panties in a bunch over nothing. Nothing. No where has anyone credible suggested he's going to do anything besides talk about education. There is no evidence that he plans to do what you all think he's going to do. None.
Are you all going to spend the next eight years in a constant state of freakout, waiting for a social cataclysm that Glenn and Rush promise you is right around the corner but which somehow never comes?
I think you will, and are happy to.
Actually, I would keep my eyes and ears open to what he is doing.
I would make sure this isn't just the start of 'messages' that aren't simply encouraging.
But until/unless there appears to be a trend starting in that direction I wouldn't read anything into this one.

"Glenn and Rush" I don't listen to them...
I just posted as to what the person may have been referring to as "brown shirts".
Is this no longer true:
"If we forget the past we are doomed to relive it"
And do we as Americans no longer have the right to question what our elected officials may or may not be up to?
What do you think the president wants us to do?
Does the speech make you want to do anything?
Are we able to do what the president is asking of us?
or how about these things from "during the speech"
What is the president asking me to do?
Keep in mind that this is for preK-6th grade
Stay in school.
stay in school. study. do my homework.
work hard. study hard. go to college.
since when is "stay in school" a partisan message?
How about a MovOn.org commercial instead of a broadcast some administrators are going to "compel" teachers to air?
