What? Is that a foreign concept to you ? Some of us still believe that, boys dont hit girls, you open a door for a lady, get up and offer your seat to woman, you dont curse or use foul language. Women are special, they are to be treated like a lady. Even when they dont necessarally act like one.
No, it's a sick, sexist, 19th century concept.

Doors should be held open for those who NEED the door held open for them.
Women don't need your seat....but if you were a 90 year old guy on a bus I would give YOU my seat.

Well I have to say it. This is a good post. We do live in a world that is supposed to be equal opportunity. The down side of course is less chivalry.
That does not excuse all those witnesses who did nothing. That would fall under doing the morally right thing. Helping a fellow human in time of crisis.

Instead of chivalry how about EVERYONE just being considerate of EVERYONE else???

According to some, you are a sexist! This cannot be.....a woman getting special respect from a man? The outrage! Some "men" (loosely) and women think chivalry is disrespectful to women. These "guys" think they are being heroes to their sistas or girlfriends, but many times it is the reason they can not get a female, and have to resort to rest areas and midnight visits to the park.
ah but that would require a little bit of compromise. We don't do that so well these days.
Well we had chivalry and women still got beaten and raped and murdered by MEN.
Being considerate doesn't mean compromise anyway....if I saw ANYONE with their arms full I'd hold a door open for them, young, old, male, female...common sense, instead of sexism, goes a long way....

Yeah ... I totally agree. In my opinion, the women's lib movement did much more harm than good. Many guys have no clue how many woman out there long for the days when men were more chivalrous. But yes, this is off the topic so this is all I'm going to say.
In Georgia he won't do a day without Federal charges. You know how it is here. They gave a teenaged black kid 10 years in prison for having oral sex with a white girl! But this guy will walk if he is not Federally charged.
Black kid? Ha he was 18 and it was statoury rape. Got what he deserved. Yeah here in Ga we know who is in charge aint that right. I love this state.
