Adultry has been legitimized in our society and whitewashed to "having an affair". I've actually seen articles that make the absurd claim that having affairs is healthy for marriages. Adultry is so rampant in our society because it has be legitimized by the media. No one is speaking out about adultry anymore and folks wonder why marriages are breaking up left and right.
"Legitimized by the media" -- sex sells. If no one cares, why are marriages breaking up left and right?

Do you think that women who sell their bodies (or rent them ) in legalized brothels are doing it because they WANT TO? I think desperate circumstances forces women to enter that profession whether it is legal or not. What self-respecting woman would voluntarily rent out their bodies for a few bucks?
Doesn't a carpenter give up control of what they are doing with their body when building a house for a client? A boxer? Anybody who uses physical labor to earn money? Be honest, what we are seeing is a result of a stigma attached to the evils of *gasp* sex.
We see the same nonsense about regulating and making illegal all sorts of non-crimes in this country. It is the use of force which makes an activity a crime, not personal beliefs.

Yeah ... I think the reason why so many men advocate for legalization of prostitution is to make it easier for themselves to obtain the services of the sex laborer. Many men don't give a damn about the women they use or the lasting harmful effects that the woman has to live with. She is nothing more than an object to be used and cast aside.
Military service is a noble act whereas there is nothing nobel about prostitution. I would be ok with the age requirement of military service to be increased to 21 because an 18 year old is still a kid.
The nobility of one 'profession' versus another 'profession' should have no bearing on its legal status.
Regarding the minimum age requirements, I'm for a 'realignment' of the laws regarding age restrictions. I am not particularly inclined towards 18 or 21. I think it should logical, rational, and consistent.

Those places in Nevada? Yes, they do. Not that they're nymphos, but for money. They may have the same inner mental problems a street corner prostitute may have or have delusional ideas that this makes them glamorous, but at least they're legal. That means they have mandated health checkups and so on, and they're not out on the corners heckling the passersby.

Like those who want it, can't get it today. In fact, if a man steals from and abuses a prostitute, the woman can't even come out and talk about it. She will be in trouble. But hey, that is her problem, right? Do you know what I mean by Ostrich Syndrome?

Do you think keeping it illegal keeps the desperate circumstances and these women out of the profession? Do you think they are better protected with their choice being illegal?

Republicans have always favored violence over sex.
When he two come together, as in the Richmond rape event, things are at their ugliest.
