There are plenty of nurses who are men. (I hate the term "male nurses".) A large percentage of nurses in the military are men. Let me tell you, it's not a job for slackers.
I like ebay. No boss. all the $ is in MY pocket. Work from home. Take bubble baths....eat bon bons, and watch dirty movies while I pack up my merchandise.
Its an undeniable fact that dual incomes have driven up the cost of living for everyone, but everyone should have the option of working. But still today, it's basically a choice for women to work, while working is a responsiblity of men. Not many men have the option of chosing not to work. And many women do in fact either quit working all together, or switching to part time.. Very few men, especially single men, have this option.

Do many men really have the freedom to choose? If a man chooses to not work, he basically becomes homeless. A woman can have a kid, and go on welfare or something....

If you look in the relationships forum, you'll see topics about women refusing to date male nurses, because they don't think it's manly.. So men in these sort of professions can and sometimes does have consequences for them.

I Know quite a few stay-at-home dads and also dads who watch the kids while the wife works and she watches them while he works. Also, if men could get pregnant, I bet many, many, many women would prefer that the man do just that, Stay home, while she works.
