Yes its their fault you dont have a million dollars right
So they would pay it all right
an equal percentage.
I can't even argue with ignorance you guys bring. You isolate a sentence from an entire conversation. You don't know that i don't have 5 million dollars. I do have a heart and compassion which is clearly missing from many people.
my wife has been a frontline provider since she was 28 an whole heartedly supports a single payer system. the only insurance that pays without being fought is medicare and medicaid
I see... it's really about your wife getting paid in a timely manner.
If it is -- go help yourself to a cow or to a watermelon. After all it's your right, eh?? Farmers should be enslaved so everyone can exercise the right to eat, correct??
my how you turn everything to fit you. i was not the one who made the original food comparison now was I.
You should get a job at fox you would be great at splicing video tapes.
I agree health care is a right. I also think being responsible and contributing your fair share to society is a right. People assume a Right = Free. People have that confused and assume that health care should be a right and thus they shouldn't have to pay for it or prioritize it. It's amazing because people will not complain about paying $200 for an I-phone or a $30,000 for a new car but those same people don't want to pay for health insurance. I've seen Medicaid patients drive BMW's and have Coach purses. It's funny because you couldn't find a single Nintendo Wii a year ago because everyone felt they had to buy it even if they couldn't afford it but when it comes to healthcare, it's down on the priority list.
The funny thing is people in this country find a way to buy things when they want them but when it comes to health insurance, it's suddenly "Well I'm owed that so I shouldn't pay for it" I'm not defending insurance companies because they are ripping off people by continuing to increase premiums and profits and I believe in reform but I also think Americans need to prioritize their spending habits and not buy homes that are 10 times their annual salary or a buy a luxury car instead of buying health insurance.
No, it doesn't. I'm not going to do your homework for you. Go do some research at the Census Bureau site and see for yourself. My senator gave us the same numbers at his town hall meeting, as I said in my post. Those figures are valid.
And what's with your claim about "people with insurance getting denied care or being cut off"? A lack of proofreading your own post? Some real supporting facts, please.
oh yes senators never lie. you continue to ignore the money i have pointed out twice.
I would gladly pay more taxes if my health insurance premiums would go down.
Isn't that like the cat chasing it's tail? Your health insurance premiums go down $200 dollars a month but your taxes go up $200 a month. There is no free ride in this country. One way or the other you will pay.
apparently school did not teach you to read. I never ever said a higher percentage, ever.
you mean to tell me that someone who has to attend public school in south central or inner city baltimore or detroit has the same education and therefore opportunities as someone growing up in middle class suburbia? really?
I said I might have misinterpreted what you said and I said I apologize if I did. To say I 'don't know how to read' after I apologize is an ignorant, spiteful attitude, and is honestly more than a little pathetic.
I know people in medical school now who started in inner city public schools. I know senior executives at my company who started out with absolutely nothing. You again, are making excuses.
Having the same education and having the same opportunities are very different things! Some people have it easer than others (obviously), however everyone has the same opportunities. A person who isn't handed life on a silver platter can do one of two things, whine about it, or work harder and succeed in spite of their circumstances. It seems like you are one of those who complain rather than stepping up and working harder. Here is something you should take away from this.
Hard work trumps natural ability or a trust fund any day of the week. Most of us learn this when we grow up. Hopefully you figure it out one day...
