IPCC is howling about how this year was one of the hottest since 1880 or whatever but how the friggen hell do they even know.
They don't know.
See, when they resort to such hyperbole, most people are aware that the planet was much hotter and colder, many, many times throughout our history. You know immediately they are full of BS.

The Little Ice Age was a time of cooler climate in most parts of the world. Although there is some disagreement about exactly when the Little Ice Age started, records suggest that temperatures began cooling around 1250 A.D. The coldest time was during the 16th and 17th Centuries. By 1850 the climate began to warm.
It's kinda like taking the very worst of the economic times we are in now or in the Great Depression and claiming the following years were times of great economic expansion. In fact those were times where we caught back up to the path we were on in the long run.
What concerns most global warming people is how we are warming faster than previous warming periods. Man made global warming should be thought of literally. Those people litterally believe man is the problem and they have a "final solution."
Or how they are even accurate now. Satellites have been used the last thirty or so years I believe but what did they do before?? Did Wild Bill Hickock or Jesse James run around recording temps? Who did it in the Antarctic? How do they measure sea temps? Those ocean bouis? (spelling??) What if a whale pisses next to one wont that make the measurement higher? I think they used a new invention called: "thermometers"..... Google it.
