The premise of this question is: You MUST say that you love your country more than you love your President. If you don't, then you're a traitor, un-American, etc.

Ok, I went to your post that you think bore out Beck lies. You said that Vancouver will hold the 2010 Olympic games but maybe you need to get some truth in that like in saying Winter Olympic games. Nice try but you were also completely wrong.
Since you failed on your first point I decided to treat you the same you treat Beck and myself and just skip over the rest. I will try to read more of your treatise tomorrow when it isn't past bedtime.

Vancouver hasn't lost anything because the olympics have never been there. EVER. Summer or winter and will not be until this year. So therefore his statement was a lie. That is the point.
He is not a credible source and him using a historical fact in the midst of all his lies does not make him one. You agree with Glenn Beck, you hate the president and you chose to get distorted history lessons from him. He is still a liar and whatever Woodrow Wilson has done has nothing to do with Obama and does not prove anything.
Let me ask all you haters one question and if any of you can answer it I think that we will have the champion googler for today.
In his campaign for the 1916 election what did Woodrow Wilson promise the people above all else? He said over and over that we would never be involved in that war in Europe. How long after his inauguration was it before he asked Congress to declare war on Germany? That is the question and now get to your googling. Good luck. When you find the answer come back at me with it, please so we can discuss it a bit.
Geez, Roy, you needed Beck (or Google) to tell you that it was only a few months after Wilson became president that we got involved in WWI? What was he suppose to do after Germany sank our ships, stand around with his finger you know where because he'd promised not to enter the war? Did Glenn have an answer for why he broke that campaign promise or did he gloss over the facts? Campaign promises, by the way, get broken but that doesn't make them necessarily lies to begin with....isn't that the parallel Beck is trying to draw between Obama and Wilson, that they both so-called lied in their campaigns?

Your question exposes your lack of knowledge about what Beck is attempting to do these days. I think you deserve three cheers for exposing your lack of knowledge about this while you try to be so knowledgeable about him. You don't know your hindquarters from page 9 about Beck.

Since you know so little about Woodrow Wilson, the first great progressive to sit in that seat, you have no idea why Beck would attempt to compare what he did to push us over the cliff with how Obama, a progressive, also, is doing the same thing to us.
What all do you know about the election of 1916 and the broken promise of Wilson? One broken promise, compared to all those broken by Obama, but it was a big one.
