The problem is libs never see or hear anything past the words free or handout. They will not see the cost; the loss of freedoms, the loss of doctors, the loss of quality care or the fact when we lose a large number of doctors they will be replaced by unskilled third world doctors to try and bridge the gap.

By characterizing the insurance companies as the evil bad guys, in the middle of the worse recession/depression since the 30s, and being in the majority, they could begin to realize their socialist agenda. They could lay the foundation for their socialist utopia.

By the way, the financial crisis was also caused by their socialist attempts at creating a black middle class of homeownership. 'Predatory lending' sure! The bankers jumped out of the bushes and forced people to borrow. What a hoot!

These people don't understand business. They don't want to understand. They think the money is out there and they are entitled to it. They imagine the insurance companies are able to cover everyone and premiums will go down. How does that work? What model are they using?

Any business has to take in more than it pays out. If they can't raise premiums, they will go out of business. Of course that's what the Dems want in the end - they want a government take over - a public system. Dems are dumb, easily led, and this administration is using them.
Maybe if they didn't spend billions for lobbying, buying politicians, buying TV ads to scare people, etc., they could afford to cover people at reasonable rates. Profiting off Americans' healthcare is immoral and disgusting!

Bush had a hostile democratic party that kept threatening to cut off funding for the wars, and they submarined his attempts to even open a discussion on reforming/saving social security. Do you sincerely think they would have been open minded about reforming health care?

Now the Crips and the Bloods are going to get the same health care as Congress gets. And you're going to pay for it! And you're going to provide them with a house. And a job - because in the wacky world of Obama's imagination everyone has the 'right' to a job.

I think you misread the post. Now watch how Obama and company force the insurance companies out of business so they can take over completely. It's a power grab.

"Obama and company" does not refer to businesses (unless I misread your post).

And, yes, the government will gradually force everyone out of business until it has complete control. Power grab of the boldest sort.

I believe in my heart regardless of what the Republican were proposing to reform Healthcare. I believe they would have never changed the way it is.

Obama asked the Republican on more than one occasion to work together. Is it Obama fault they refuse to sit down with him?

Im happy the vote went through, we (Americans) need action instead of talk.
