One thing that has been consistently proven is he's a liar. Everytime he opens his mouth a lie flies out. He lied, cheated and threatened to get this health care debacle passed and trampled on the Constitution in the process. That's some legacy.
So it doesn't really matter if he's from the US, Kenya or Mars. The result is still the same. Bad news.

The bottom line is that there is NO evidence that he was actually born in Kenya, and that "direct testimony" was a mistranslation by an interpreter of statements of the third wife of Obama's grandfather, NOT Obama's grandmother. A child who is an American citizen cannot renounce that citizenship, nor can parents or guardians of the child, per AMERICAN law. And AMERICAN law does not care what the citizenship laws are of other countries. And if he claims he's a Christian, then he's a Christian. That's all that Jesus Christ required, and who are you to decide otherwise?

With regard to what HAS been produced, the short form Certificate of Live Birth of questionable authenticity (not the long form with details), testimony of one relative is all that is required in Hawaii to secure such an Hawaii birth document ... that's it! Just a declaration .. no proof needed, no hospital record, nothing else is required. The long form however, lists all of details that is absent in the short form that couldn't be so easily forged. Those details, ... place of birth, attending physician, father and mother and their details, time of birth, address, etc would be much more difficult to "make up" and could be verified.
In addition, numerous accounts of the family history as told by Barry Soetoro have been riddled with "mis-statements" as the Obama supporters like to call them (more honest folks simply call them what they are .. lies and fabrications). One of them related to his father being part of a Kenyan Student airlift to Hawaii, financed by the Kennedy family, though after investigation of those claims, daddy Obama's name appears nowhere in the manifests of either of the two flights bringing these students to Hawaii. There are many other such "mis-statements" about his past and his family's history. Of course this is all just circumstantial, and prove nothing other than the propensity for a politician to "embellish" the truth whenever it seems beneficial.
Yet, NO EVIDENCE he was born in America has been provided thus far, just Obama's word ... which at this point, after all of his lies, holds NO WEIGHT WHATSOEVER. Then we also have the word of some bureaucrat in Hawaii that SAYS he was born in Hawaii (and LORD KNOWS government bureaucrats don't lie ...) yet he refuses to release the proof, and continues to fight off lawsuits like a tiger rather than release the information he shouldn't be withholding in the first place.

I'm cutting through the whaargarbl to focus on the central misunderstanding, here. Hawaii's authorities have OK'd that the certificate produced by the campaign holds water. And, as much as you'd like to think otherwise, that's it. That is what "certificate" means - that the relevant authorities certify that whatever it says on the paper matches their records.
The long form or vault copy or whatever Holy Grail you've set out to uncover isn't a magic, unique item. It's just a record - the authorities confirm these facts. Call the office of record to verify. And the office of record has verified. That's as close to ex cathedra as you get within the civil service.

If he was "born Barry Soetoro", how come his father is "Barack Obama Sr." and his mother didn't meet Mr. Soetoro until Obama was already in Pre-school? Not only that, but how is it that you don't understand that Barry and Barack are the same name, only different forms? I know a guy whose name is Miguel, he goes by Mikey. I know a guy whose name is Morris, he goes by Moe. I know a girl whose name is Elizabeth, she goes by Liz. John F. Kennedy went by Jack. Richard Cheney goes under the name Dick. And why wouldn't he take his step-father's name if he was moving to another country where that name would be more accepted amongst his peers?

The birth certificate is not questionable authenticity. It is his birth certificate showing he was born in Honolulu. Just because you love playing warped absurd lied filled conspiracy theory games doesn't make the garbage you spew true.
