I can’t get Amazon delivery in fewer than 6 days, and I have Prime.
That was my issue (I'm not sure if it was as long as 6 days, but it definitely wasn't next day or same day!) when I lived in Honolulu and is one of the things I'm not looking forward to when I return to the city next year.
I got tired of waiting for my house to be painted (the trim) and finally just hung my lights up outside on the patio this weekend. Yesterday the guy came and prepped my house to paint the trim and I'm pretty sure I will have to take these lights back down again.
I woke up this morning thinking this. Now that's sad.
My Publix has been out of my cat's favorite for months. I finally started buying it from chewy.com.
My first world problem for today (actually) this week is it always seems to rain at the time I walk my dogs at night. I have a fenced back yard but I take them for their social time around 30 minutes before sunset because of the heat. Even if the rain is done when I walk them, the little 5 pound Yorkie gets her feet and belly soaking wet.

This is so sad. I am so sorry.
I thought I was going to have to put my big fat old stupid dog down last week. But the vet kept her for an entire day, observed her, and told me at the end of the day that she probably has three or four more good years left in her, with proper meds and care. So...all day long I thought "I am going to have to put her down," and then BAM, I didn't have to put her down. So...conflicting emotions. Am I going to have to take care of her increasing needs as she ages? Yes, apparently. But also, OK. I don't know. Mixed emotions. But mostly grateful that she seemed to do OK at the vet's office. I don't know. She's apparently going to live forever. Or at least three or four more years - which seems like forever.
