HH is right but I will be slowing down from now on before going under the 41 bridge. I usually hit it at a higher speed to blow some of the carbon out especialy if i have been trolling up to that point. No more

I do it too. Even between the piling markers by the beach complex (after the "resume normal operation" zone of course). Makes you stop and think....

You ARE supposed to go slow under the 41 bridge.

Up north ALL bridges were no wake zones, I assumed it was the same down here. No wonder I get passed.

I don’t have all the details because this is an FWC case but there was a boat accident at 4:30 p.m. Saturday at Tom’s Harbor Cut Bridge at the 60.5 mm. From dispatch notes, and from information gathered from Sheriff’s deputies, a small vessel hit a bridge piling. A woman and a dog were thrown from the vessel. The woman was pulled from the water quickly, but the dog was not recovered right away.
FWC Lt. L. Riesz responded and was reportedly taken out to the scene on board a vessel from Hawks Cay Marina by marina employees Alberto Saez and Demetri Darville. They recovered the people from the boat, who only suffered minor injuries.
Sundance Watersports employees Jason Elliott and Kristin Mashshie went out to the accident scene on wave runners to search for the dog, which had not yet been found. They found the dog (a yellow lab) and brought it back to shore safely.
Three cheers to FWC, Hawks Cay Marina employees and the employees from Sundance Watersports!

In the center, where it's marked, yes. Between any other support, there is no speed limit. I asked the FWC about this a couple of years ago.

That is rod storage and live well plumbing and some water pickups. I was at the Cajun factory once in Winnsborro La. and when you would see one of the boats all plumbed before the top cap goes on I remember thinking how would you ever fix one of those if you had a leaky pipe. I cant even reach my live well pump on my boat and It needs replaced. All the new design engineers should have to pull wrenches for a couple years before they are allowed to design.

When it is this windy it's time to fish the peace river. I would'nt go out in this. When the weather forcast is rough for inland bays and harbors it will be a giant blender

I stayed in and fished by backyard canal. I caught another large mouth bass!
It's the second one I've caught and released here.
I know it's brackish here, but jeez that's funny. It's the same water where I've caught redfish, lady fish, snook (which can stand fresh water), mangrove snapper, jacks and even saw a big tarpon rolling last summer.

I should start a photo album of all the fish caught off my dock. It may up my property values.
