Rashkis Elementary in Chapel Hill closed early two Tuesdays in a row back in December for the same reason Green Hope did today. On one of those days it was 60 degrees outside when they made that decision.

You know this winter is a dud if JACKSONVILLE, FLORIDA and WAYCROSS, GEORGIA are forecast to get more snow in one storm than you have recieved the entire season.

Oh and Lidl's parking lot lights went out as I was leaving, the news said there have been power outages due to the cold

Calling this one a dud. Either that or it will prove the existence of the Chapel Hill snow bubble .
