We have a big area at the front of the neighborhood that didn't get touched because of the way our entryway is poured. It'll be super icy soon.

And most of the roads will ice back up... they've still got ice on them and they're soaked.

Yep, we are off of Waldo Rood in Cary and no plowing here either.

I'm off of Jenks Carpenter and our road was plowed. Well, mostly plowed: they did one path around our cul de sac, I assume to clear a path for mail delivery. Still ice in the middle though.

Plow never came up my street but that's okay since Chapel Hill Schools are closed tomorrow. And I'm not leaving the house anyway - I'll be busy selling my stuff on eBay.

That's nice for you. I hope none of your neighbors have jobs where they get docked if they don't show up in person.

It does stink for people who work outside the home like my husband, and he commutes to Burlington!. I was just trying not to complain. It's unreal that our high taxes in Chapel Hill do not pay for our street to be plowed. But there's not much I can do about it, and I am fortunate that I am not affected.

We got no mail delivery today. And I'm wondering what the entrance to our subdivision looks like because last year it was bad, there's a slight incline as you exit which makes it even worse.

We did get mail today, FYI, but we are only one block off Glenwood.

We have the opposite problem - the two entrances and one hill melted, but the rest is for the most part as icy as it was - tomorrow morning should be interesting.
