Bella Casa is assigned to Apex Middle, one of the few Traditional calendar middle schools in the area.

It is an old building, but it's a great school and we really like it.

You'd also be assigned to Apex Friendship for high school, which just opened this year and is getting great reviews and is a gorgeous facility.

We have several friends in Bella Casa - they all love it and being next to the park is awesome.

Yes, and they are going to send overflow kids to Dillard Middle. Its 14 miles away from Bella Casa. How on earth those kids commute to school 14 miles away? Are they going to spend 2-3 hour a day in school bus?

I know they are building Apex Friendship Middle but it will be open in 2018 so still 2year until then Lufkin Road year round or 14 mile away traditional calender .

The middle school situation is a bit of a problem. Morrisville has NO middle school. There's just not enough room in the middle schools in western Wake. Lufkin Road was the YR option for my neighborhood and without traffic and (bus) stops that's a half hour ride.

Default Two new schools set to open this year in Green Level

One is an Elementary School, the other a High School in this area that used to be a rural community. White Oak Church Road for one and Roberts Road at Green Level Church Road in Apex/now parts could be Cary .. not sure.
Major changes in the community of which no one explained about it/how it would impact the people that have lived here for so long. From my heart, I am not an expert on anything but I believe a lot of the changes since last August or so have been because of the WCPSS and their off site improvements, which problems have occurred because of their contractors/planners/designers from the beginning not doing impact studies and how the changes are going to effect the water flow from established creeks, possibly onto established property owners. Damage being done by this lack of study .. they did a traffic study .. but what about the change in the natural water flow in this area that goes down White Oak Creek into Jordan Lake?
Not going to get into the traffic part of it ... more concerned right now with how all of this water is going to change the topo of the land/flood plain/erosion/massive amounts of water coming off of the construction sites ...
Retention ponds ... ? that is a joke. This land has been turned into raw dirt .. some parts of it is going to move .. then the site will have asphalt paving, another place for the water run off/buildings? another place for the water run off.

There has already been damage to this area/property owners/stability of their driveways/driveways collapsing in part and or total. They will not take responsibility for any of it/and or try and fix it.

Just an FYI ... there is more to just getting a new school ... there were people and their lives and quality of life way before that. The WCPPS you trust to build a school and send your kids there?? Just wait until you see the new traffic patterns and how you are going to get there. ... and remember most of us still live here and trying to figure out how all of this is going to work.

This is progress???
