Downtown Cary isn't really a 'downtown', I mean...it's thrown together collection of auto mechanics, a few eateries, and strange stores. Not really a place to take visitors if you want to 'walk around' a downtown area.
The only place we take visitors to walk around is Chapel Hill. None of the other areas, include Raleigh itself, is worth it.
Welcome to the Triangle!

DT Cary is coming on quite nicely. The new Hotel, then soon a new Library. I hope something is done to improve the train station.
Yes, those car repair shops are annoying !!! 3 of them on the same block? Seriously!!!

Downtown Durham would be worth it, especially the core area near CCB Plaza
New restaurant in Sams-Jones: If Chuong is doing a new place, he will do slow, sit-down, fine-wanna-be-dining, at high dollaa!!! he is not the man to do fast and cheap food, too arrogant for that. That being said, surprised to see him back in Cary after what he did to the BuenasNoches' and after he made a bad name for himself in wake county.

Gee, I wish for a take-out place across from the park...
