I'm thinking about a turkey from either Popeyes or The Fried Turkey Sandwich Shop?
I've heard nice things about both of them. We shall see?

We’ve done Fresh Market for several years. I get a great freshly made Turducken roll (turkey, stuffing, andouille sausage, duck, stuffing, then chicken ) that I then cook in the oven, plus their pre- made herb stuffing and gravy. A generic canned cranberry (I’m the only one that eats it). Usually do fresh broccoli and carrots from the garden, but pick up a pumpkin or sweet potato pie for dessert (w/ whipped cream and/or ice cream). Feeds 4-6 easily with leftovers. And wine...plenty of wine.

We moved into our house in 2013. We quickly established a social group of 12 or so, most of whom don't have any family nearby. We have Thanksgiving and Christmas dinners together.

Sadly, this year, it's different. Our group will be whittled down to 4-6, all sitting at our large dining room table or split up between the kitchen table and kitchen island.

I just checked their health inspection score, 90.5. And if you look at the comments it makes me wonder if they take food safety seriously. Yikes!

I live in the Brier Creek Country Club which has a restaurant. I think it's likely they'll do a to go option. I doubt they'll do a buffet. I'm also looking at Harris Teeter. Haven't checked Lowes Foods yet.

Since this is a BBQ state, anyone knows places that sell BBQ turkey? Like a place you place an order for one?

Careful. I thought BBQ was only for pork. You could be violating the law here!

We had a smoked turkey from Big Al’s BBQ last Thanksgiving. It was delicious!

We'll be having the seasoned turkey from Costco.

This year we'll probably be able to get by with just one - as it will only be four of us.
