@LisaP, It's 65º here today, supposed to be 68º tomorrow, maybe 70º on Sat. Just thought you oughta know.

It will get cold here again, but these warm days in Feb are nice. We usually get a few each year, but you never know too far in advance when they are going to pop up.

We're here this week at our beach place and took a lovely walk yesterday. On the beach. In February. No coat.

On the drive down we nearly froze to death at rest stops trying to get the dog to go potty. Seriously. Hubby was shivering so hard when he got back in the car I was worried about him!

We can't wait to be out of the BITTER, BITTER cold.

Well, I’d say both those areas are “married with kids” and not really walkable. Rapidly growing but They’re kind of far out there. On my first exploratory trip here, I went to Holly Springs and it was kind of a wasted trip for me.

Have you looked into Athens GA? Definitely a great college town, just won National Championship. The downtown area has restaurants, shops. Georgia would be warmer than NC. Might be worth researching.
