We're here this week at our beach place and took a lovely walk yesterday. On the beach. In February. No coat.
On the drive down we nearly froze to death at rest stops trying to get the dog to go potty. Seriously. Hubby was shivering so hard when he got back in the car I was worried about him!
We can't wait to be out of the BITTER, BITTER cold.
Well, I’d say both those areas are “married with kids” and not really walkable. Rapidly growing but They’re kind of far out there. On my first exploratory trip here, I went to Holly Springs and it was kind of a wasted trip for me.
Have you looked into Athens GA? Definitely a great college town, just won National Championship. The downtown area has restaurants, shops. Georgia would be warmer than NC. Might be worth researching.
Doing more research today...
Holly Springs and Fuquay-Varina are both intriguing.
......what do you find intriguing about those towns?
They are....definitely not what you have described you are looking for.
