While showing a home that had been on the market a very long time, through at least two summers in a southern climate, my buyer wanted to check the condition of the windows in the master bedroom because from the hall, they looked "cloudy".

Lo and behold when he opened the first one, in between the storm and regular window, there was a HUGE wasps nest ... active.

That was a heart in my throat moment. He made a lowball offer and bought the place. I didn't go to the home inspection.

Default Porn.

My younger brother was looking for a house about 6 years ago. Walk through the house, everything is fine. Walk down to the basement, and literally walk into a wall of flesh. Whomever had lived there before had a serious porn mag addiction. Pages ripped out, taped to all of the walls and the ceiling. He couldn't believe it.

I was showing a nice home with a married couple and a son- while we were admiring the view out of the master bedroom window,,,the 7-8 yr old son,,pulled out some toys from under the bed...they weren't kids toys.. the kids speaks up and says "hey mom what are these"?? the father started chuckling,,,the mother turned red and screamed,,,dont touch them!! and she turned red and wanted to leave.

I showed another house where the house was suppose to be empty....while in the living room, we heard a door open and a naked middle-aged man walked to the bathroom, the wife again,,,said Im outta here

Another showing, we went into the master bedroom and here are two nude paintings of the owners wife,,,the husband buyer and I was looking at them and the wife,,,said,,,"who the hell does this and leaves it for other people to look at" and she wanted to leave

THere is a guy in the darwin awards that had covered his entire apartment that way including such things as inside the toilet lid.

He took it a step further and made a "porn helmet" kinda like a football helmet with 360degree porn with a narrow eye-slits.

He was putting more porn up one day someplace high and got caught somehow on a ceiling fan etc. and hung himself accidentally.

Maybe it was the same guy.

I actually BOUGHT an all-pink home. And had my then-boyfriend paint the entire thing before I moved in. The carpet was a pink-y beige that looked better once the pink walls were gone.

Strangest thing I ever saw while househunting was in a very clean, nicely decorated home. The basement was finished with carpet but the owners weren't using it as a living area, just for storage. On the carpet were several piles of dog poo, so old they were completely dried up. You would think at some point someone would have suggested the owners clean it up.

Yahh... that's disgusting! the listing agent should have made that high priority on the "always show ready" list.

In my case, I always bring an expert with me just to make sure that I will not waste my hard earned money. I also get opinion at times to Feng shui expert because I'm believer of them probably because of my family as well as my grandmother who was then told us to make a consultation if the property or house is good enough for you. On the other hand, anyone can spot if the house is worthy enough or not. The moment you see the things that in there as well as the materials they used you can make your own stand whether to buy it or not.
