Thank you guys for being there and all your support in our house selling. I still don't think this is going to happen, lol maybe because it has been on the market SO LONG, or maybe the fact I know they are going to lowball us. I as I said will leave it in God's hands and what will be will be.
nj I want to see the pics!!! They sound adorable!!!

My prayers are with you all that still need our homes to sell that soon we will see in our front yards and we can look forward to !!! Here is a big bag full of pixie dust that our homes start moving soon!!

You all TC

Default Happy MLK Day

Brawnwyn,

to Crazy Camp!

Hammy,,,did they make you that offer yet? What the heck are they waiting for! Lacey, has the temp. warmed up? Judy, hope you get an offer, even a lowball one that you could reject would be nice! Anyone else waiting for news on showings? Painter, sounds like you are priced to sell.

Thought of you Crazyma...got into a cleaning frenzy yesterday. Washed and bleached the grout on the kitchen floor for four hours. I am so stiff and can barely move today

Dogmom...any news on the house hunting scene? How are you finding the prices? Hope your successful on finding your new home.

Default thanks for the welcome!

Thanks for the warm welcome, everyone!

Lorriem - yes, I did post on the SJ board a while back - it was on our short list of places but always as an alternative if Colorado did not work out. Now we are definitely heading home to the Rockies!

So... our listing went live on Friday afternoon. Yesterday (sunday) I got up, looked out the window at a whirling snowstorm, and knew we'd have no showings. Then the phone rings.. our first showing! In the middle of a storm! Someone looking for an antique home with horse property, which ours is, wanted to see it and was willing to brave awful roads to come by.

Of course I am trying hard not to think about it all day today, trying not to jump when the phone rings. I keep telling myself that even if they love it, it could take days or a week before they want to make an offer. And probably they aren't going to anyway. Either way, I'm sure it doesn't inidcate anything one way or the other that we've heard nothing back today. Right?!?

I know I just need to chill -- this could and probably will take months and months -- but it's dang hard to.

Argh!

We are ALL here for you, if you want my email let me know, I am usually just hanging around waiting for an email or post, ok. I am a very good listener, as I can speak for the rest of us..

You just need to get better and I can only imagine what pain you are in right now...on the positive side, sounds like your neighbors are angels and you have good support there...

Barb ))
Barb, thank you so much! I can't believe how blessed I am to have on-line friends like y'all. Actually, the pain has subsided to a dull ache, but I have increased weakness due to the spinal cord compression.

My next door neighbors are angels! My sister will be flying up from Tampa also to help me out post surgery.

Judy...I am actually feeling better today as far as pain goes...but the weakness is bothersome.

I also got a 2nd opinion--I decided since there was spinal cord involvement that I would consult with a neurosurgeon. I would rather have a NS operate than an orthopedic surgeon since it's involving the cord. I meet with him next Monday.

On an UP note....my STEELERS are Super Bowl bound!!

Good grief it has been snowing here for two hours. Once again what happened to global warming? The puppy loves the snow but the other three don't want any part of it.
