Sooo last night I'm driving home on a very busy expressway here in Miami around 1:45am in the left lane. Traveling around 65+mph when all of a sudden a little black and white kitten runs into my lane!!! I slam on brakes and honk my horn to scare it back to the median which happens. I pull over and start running in my 4" heels after this kitten along the concrete median against traffic..It finds a opening in median and takes off the other side. Fling off shoes and I jump median and follow. This happens again. Finally it stops in the median and I grab it where it bites the shyt out of me but I don't care. It's now underneath my bed sleeping on a towel with a belly full of milk...
I can't figure out how a little kitten got across a 5 lane expressway (on both sides) and didn't get killed and how it got there in the first place???? I can only imagine what people were thinking when they see this blonde hauling ass with no shoes on jumping the median. Must have thought I was crazy, lmao!! It's amazing its alive and the kitty God's must have known I would be on that road at the right time...It's black and white and is sooo dirty, lol.
Any suggestion on names???
Good thing this didn't happen in daylight. Around here, slamming on the brakes while on the highway is a no no. We would have to join the Save a Cat, Kill a Human program.
He's a lucky cat to have someone go out of its way to give it a good home. Wish more people did good deeds. Hopefully on a daily basis. I commend you on your kindness.
Cruising through our local Trader Joe's listening to the music being piped in. Neil Diamond's Cracklin Rosie was playing, which is sorta ironic as I was there picking up some of the 2 buck chuck.
As Ina Garten would say, "How good is that?"
I love that song! It makes me cry...reminds me of my old Rosie dog. I miss her.

That dog was classic. She was da bomb. I miss her too.
