I'm sitting on my front stoop waiting for guests to arrive for hubby's graduation BBQ. One guest is here, but he took off on one of our bikes. The weather is beautiful and it's going to be good, albeit late, BBQ!

I went shopping and walked around my neighborhood.....beautiful old Victorian Style homes line the streets in my neighborhood. I love to walk around looking at the different homes.

Went to lunch with my mom and sister, we went to this Vietnamese restaurant that we used to go to all the time when I was little. Hasn't changed too much... a fresh coat of paint, different waiters and that's about it.

Ooh, love pho. Haven't had it in a few years though.

Spent all weekend working in the yard with my husband. We put pavers around the big flower bed, dug sod up around a tree, put pavers around that, put down more mulch. I got filthy dirty both days and I am tired and sore. But it feels good to work on the house.

Also, I finally decided how to decorate our room (ordered curtains this morning) and family room (bought a lot of paint). I think I might paint the kitchen purple.

On the downside, my house is a wreck. We keep doing projects instead of cleaning! It should look nice when we finish, though.

My favorite colors are purple and blue. If you paint your kitchen a combination of those 2 colors, I'll move right in.
