I worked on my people skills and accomplished a short term goal, even if it did not involve a short term relationship.

I rode my bike for 30 miles and thought about absolutely nothing but nature the entire ride. It was awesome- rode through the country and ended up at a beach and then headed back home and took a cold shower! Exercising keeps me from depression and clears my mind of daily stress!

I tried to get Mr. Turtle (a real water turtle) to discover his inner Gastropod Hunter by taking him out of the the tank and showing him some gastropods in and around some plant containers and a deep watering depression filled with some water around a tree for that purpose. We found some slugs and snails, but he may still be to shy to unleash his inner Gastropod Hunting skills. Maybe practice will make perfect.

He has no problems in the tank; but is still somewhat bashful outdoors. I even managed to get some snails to "hitchhike" on his shell while I brought him in indoors (so I could open the door with my free hand). He may be saving them for later after he takes a siesta from all that effort outdoors; since he is usually willing to "tear right in" to any gastropods that are in the tank when I bring him some.

Had Sunday dinner at my grandparents' home to honor my grandfather that raised me. Sunday dinners have been a staple in my family for over 60 years and that tradition still continues to this day We had great conversation and I expressed my gratitude to him for helping me be the man I am today.

Found something in the freezer I do not recall having bought, and heated it up and ate it.

I also found some hashbrowns in the freezer when I was sure I had none. Apparently they were left over from a while back.

LOL, it's like the culinary equivalent of finding a 20-dollar bill in a pocket of some old clothing.
